Women's Golf Takes Third At G-MAC Championship

LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Bolstered by a trio of top-15 finishes, Ohio Dominican's women's golf team finished in third place in its first Great Midwest Championship on Monday and Tuesday at Four Bridges Country Club.

Sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) led the way for ODU as she tied for ninth with a two-day score of 161 (79-82). She carded two birdies on the back nine today.

Classmate Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) finished in 13th place with a 166 (85-81), making a birdie with nine pars on day two. Junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) finished in 14th place with a 167 (80-87) as well.

Also competing for the Panthers were sophomores Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) and Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio). Krueger finished in a tie for 21st with a 174 (89-85), while Jones tied for 26th with a 176 (88-88).
