LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio — With a round one team score of 332, Ohio Dominican's women's golf team will enter day two of the Great Midwest Championship in third place overall, and sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) and junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) both positioned themselves in the top five of the tournament field on Monday at Four Bridges Country Club.

Swensen shot a 79 and enters final day play on Tuesday in a tie for second. She turned in an impressive front nine score of 36 and recorded a birdie along the way to finish the first nine at even par.

Dill shot a 38 on the back nine and turned in 12 pars for the round. Her day one score of 80 was good enough to position her in a tie for fourth place overall heading into round two.

The tournament has been shortened due to inclement weather to a 36-hole event, with Ohio Dominican 14 strokes back of the team lead. Swensen and Dill are within three strokes of the individual leader. Round two is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, with live scoring found on the championship coverage page.
