COLUMBUS, Ohio — The sixth annual NC4K Classic will be held at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio on Monday, April 9 and Tuesday, April 10, with Ohio Dominican's women's golf team set to play host and compete in the 16-team tournament.
Play will begin with tee times on Monday between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. EST, and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday will start round two of the event.
ODU has finished in the top five in two of its three spring tournaments and is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Ohio Dominican Snowflake Open on March 26, scoring a 663 to mark its low 36-hole score for the spring. Sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) led the way with a 161 (82-79), notched 18 pars en route to her third-straight top 10 finish. She leads the Panthers in scoring average at 82.6 and has recorded a team-high six top 20 finishes in 2017-18.
Also finishing strong for the Panthers was sophomore Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio), who took 14th with a 164 (79-85). Krueger ranked in a tie for fourth in Par 5 scoring at 5.00 while notching 20 pars, second-most for the tournament. Junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) picked up her second top 20 finish of the spring, scoring a 166 (85-81) to come in a tie for 17th. Dill ranked in a tie for second in Par 3 scoring at 3.38.
