Strong Start Positions Women’s Golf In First Place Following Day One At TaylorMade Intercollegiate

DATAW ISLAND, S.C. — A first round team score of 336 has Ohio Dominican's women's golf team in first place by 27 strokes following day one of play Monday at the 2018 TaylorMade Intercollegiate at the Morgan River Course.

Five Panthers will enter day two in the top eight of the tournament field, with sophomore Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) pacing Ohio Dominican after a career-low round of 79 on day one. Jones finished +7 for the round and is currently in second place out of 39 competitors.

Sophomore Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) shot an 84 on day one and will enter tomorrow's round in fourth place overall. Sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) is in seventh place after a first day round of 86, while junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) and sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) currently are in eighth place after rounds of 87 on Monday.

Round two is set to begin tomorrow at the Morgan River Course with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Track the Panthers through live scoring.
