COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's women's golf team begins the 2018 spring season at the TaylorMade Intercollegiate in Dataw Island, South Carolina on Monday and Tuesday.
Play will span Monday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 13 at the Morgan River Course, with 36 holes of competition scheduled. A shotgun start will begin the tournament on Monday at 9 a.m., and play will begin on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The Panthers enjoyed three top five finishes as a team in the fall. Leading the way in scoring average was sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio), who recorded an average round score of 82.9 and notched three top 20 finishes. Sophomore Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) also scored well for the Panthers in the fall, recording an average of 83.6 while also finishing in the top 20 of three tournament fields.
ODU will compete in five tournaments this spring and will host the NC4K Classic on Monday, April 9 and Tuesday, April 10 at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio. The 2018 Great Midwest Spring Championships will take place Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17 at Four Bridges Country Club in Liberty Township, Ohio.
