INDIANAPOLIS — Ohio Dominican sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference women's golfer of the week on Tuesday after notching a fourth place finish at The Pat Clouse Invitational at Springfield Country Club over the weekend.
Romine shot a career-low 36 hole score of 157 that included rounds of 78 and 79 to lead the Panthers to a fourth place team finish in the tournament. Romine has turned in three-straight rounds under 80 and boasts three top 20 finishes this season. The sophomore boasts an average round score of 79.9 this fall with an .823 winning percentage.
Ohio Dominican has finished in the top five of the tournament field in its last three outings and travels to Nashville, Tennessee for the Music City Invitational on October 23 & 24 for its final tournament of the fall.
