Romine Paces Women's Golf In First Day At Pat Clouse Invite

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Behind a 78 from sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio), Ohio Dominican's women's golf team is sitting in fifth place after day one at the Pat Clouse Invitational, hosted by Wittenberg at Springfield Country Club.

Romine is in a tie for fourth with her six-over round on Saturday, matching her lowest round of the fall.

Sophomore Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) is in a tie for 19th with her 84, and sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) shot an 86 and is in a tie for 27th. Also in the top-50 are junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio), who is in a tie for 32nd with her 87, and sophomore Tori Jones (Ashland, Ohio) who is in a tie for 43rd with her 89.

Round two closes on Sunday at par 72, 5,809 yard course.
