Trio Finishes In Top 15 As Women’s Golf Places Third At Great Midwest Fall Invite

FINDLAY, Ohio – In a rain-shortened final round, Ohio Dominican's women's golf team moved up to a third place finish at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Fall Invitational on Tuesday.

After shooting a 335 on Monday, the second round was shortened to nine holes, and the Panthers shot a 168 to finish with a team score of 503 in the tournament.

Sophomore Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) and sophomore Abby Swensen (Milford, Ohio) tied for 12th with a 27 hole score of 123, as Romine shot a 40 on Tuesday and Swensen shot a 43. Sophomore Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) had the lowest round for ODU on Tuesday with a 39 and placed 14th in the tournament with a two-day total of 124.

Junior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) shot a 136 and tied for 25th, and junior Bailey Stephens (Mt. Sterling, Ohio) placed 36th with a 146 for the two days.

Ohio Dominican will play host to the ODU Cumberland Trail Classic on Saturday and Sunday at Cumberland Trail in Pataskala.
