Romine Tabbed As All-American Scholar By Women’s Golf Coaches Association

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Ohio Dominican women's golf freshman Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) was named to the 2016-17 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team on Wednesday.

Candidates for the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are required to hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.

Romine, who majors in Biology and Exercise Science at Ohio Dominican, recorded two top ten finishes and one top five finish for ODU during the 2016-17 season, finishing the year with the second-lowest average round score for the Panthers at 84.0.  

Ohio Dominican women's golf saw three of its student-athletes earn GLIAC Academic Excellence and All-Academic honors this spring.
