Track and Field Opened Outdoor Season at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's track and field teams opened their outdoor season at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational Friday and Saturday on the campus of Muskingum University.

Junior Bryanna Barber (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) led the way for the women with a second place finish in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.9. In the field events, fellow junior Megan Tamasovich (Canal Winchester, Ohio) had a third place finish in the high jump clearing 1.50 meters while freshman Kaysi Morris cleared the 2.75 meter mark in the pole vault.

On the men's side, juniors Isaiah Smith (Logan, Ohio) and Alex Botello (Hilliard, Ohio) had fourth place finishes with Smith clearing 1.75 meters in the high jump and Botello clearing the 4.25 meter mark in the pole vault.

Also in field events, senior Clayton Seymour (Ashville, Ohio) finished fifth in the discus throwing 45.05 meters and Ethan Vandermarliere (Georgetown, Kentucky) finished seventh in the javelin throwing 37.29 meters.

On the track, freshman Adam Kamel (Brook Park, Ohio) finished seventh in the 800 meter race with a time of 2:02.06 while fellow freshman Sean Noll (Somerset, Ohio) finished eighth in the 5000 meter race with a time of 17:43.44.

The track and field teams are back in action Saturday, March 30 at the April Fools Invitational at Otterbein.
