Track and Field Set to Compete in G-MAC Indoor Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's men's and women's indoor track and field teams will compete in the G-MAC Indoor Championships at Findlay, Ohio on Friday, February 22nd and Saturday, February 23rd.

Day 1:

The women's pentathlon begins at 10:00a.m, with 60 Hurdles followed by high jump (2 Pits) at 10:45a.m, next is shot put (2 Rings) at 12:15p.m, followed by long jump (2 Pits) at 1:15p.m, and lastly is the 800 meters at 2:20p.m. All times after 10:00a.m are subject to change.

The men's heptathlon begins at 10:15a.m., with 60 Meters followed by long jump (North Pit) at 11:10a.m, next is shot put (2 Rings) at 12:10p.m and last is high jump (2 Pits) at 1:10p.m.

The field events begin at 1:30p.m with the women's weight throw followed by the Women's long jump (North Pit) at 2:15p.m. The field events for the men begin at 3:00 with the pole vault and last is the men's long jump (North Pit) and men's weight throw at 4:45p.m.

The running events begin at 3:00p.m.

Day 2:

The men's heptathlon begins at 9:00a.m with the 60 Hurdles followed by the pole vault at 9:45 and last is the 1000 meters at 1:00p.m.

The field events start at 10:15a.m with the women's high jump, men's high jump, women's shot put and women's triple jump. The men's triple jump, shot put and women's pole vault will take place at 1:15p.m.

The running events begin at 12:30p.m.

Last week, the men were led by junior Lance Warren (Memphis, Tennessee) and senior Bobby Bogantz (Sunbury, Ohio) who both earned first place wins. Warren finished with a time of 7.23 on the 60 meter dash while Bogantz won the 800 meter run with a time of 201.86.

Last week, the women were led by junior Shaunqueza Stevens (Dublin, Ohio) who finished first in the 60 meter dash and 200 meter dash with times of 7.91 and 26.62 respectively. Junior Bryanna Barber (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) finished second with a time of 8.10 in the 60 meter dash
