Softball Travels to Westfield, Indiana This Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's softball team heads to Westfield, Indiana for the weekend where they will play a pair of games on both Friday and Saturday.

The Panthers come into the week at 2-6 overall after a pair of losses last Saturday to Mercyhurst and Lincoln Memorial.

Junior Cameron Barber (Powell, Ohio) led the Panther offense on the weekend posting a 4-for-4 day at the plate with two runs batted in game one against Mercyhurst. Game two saw sophomore Kristen Bales (Pickerington, Ohio) hit her first home run of the season to give ODU a 1-0 lead and their only run of the game.

Bales is leading the Panther offense as she is hitting .429 in the first six games while senior Kelly Mix (Baltimore, Ohio) is hitting .375. Junior Landry Slider (Stow, Ohio) is hitting .308 and leads ODU in RBI's with seven while Bales and Barber each have six.

Friday, February 22 – vs. Southern Indiana 2 p.m. – vs. Indianapolis 4 p.m.

Saturday, February 23 – vs Rockhurst 11 p.m.- vs. Bellarmine 3 p.m.
