Softball Heads to Harrogate, Tennessee for Games with Lincoln Memorial and Mercyhurst

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's softball team travels to Harrogate, Tennessee as the play a pair of games with Mercyhurst and Lincoln Memorial on Saturday and Sunday.

Game one on Saturday is set for 12:30 p.m. against Mercyhurst while game two is set for 3 p.m. against Lincoln Memorial. On Sunday, ODU matches up with Mercyhurst at 10 a.m. while facing Lincoln Memorial at 3 p.m.

Last week, the Panthers played in the Charger Chillout and came out of Huntsville, Alabama with a 2-4 record with wins over Shorter and Miles.

ODU came out of the weekend hitting .301 with an on base percentage of .448.

Sophomore Kristen Bales (Pickerington, Ohio) led the Panthers at the plate hitting .429 with six hits and five runs batted in. Junior Landry Slider (Stow, Ohio) had eight hits in 21 at-bats for a .381 average this past weekend and is currently leading the team with seven RBI's. Taylor Farmer (Mt. Blanchard, Ohio) had seven hits with five RBI's and an on-base percentage of .417.

In the circle, Farmer led the Panther with three appearances giving up three earned runs in 5.1 innings pitched. Senior Abby Lamping (Cleves, Ohio) threw 13.2 innings for the Panthers while Cameron Barber (Powell, Ohio) threw 11.2 innings.
