COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's softball team will continue Great Midwest Athletic Conference play with road doubleheaders at Walsh on Saturday and Malone on Monday.
The Panthers (10-15, 0-2 G-MAC) will take on the Cavaliers on Saturday beginning at Noon and will face Malone on Monday starting at 3 p.m. ODU and the rest of the conference are battling inclement spring weather in the Midwest, with both doubleheaders being rescheduled from their original times.
Since 2010, the Panthers are a combined 15-8 against Walsh and Malone and will be meeting the two teams for the first time as members of the Great Midwest. In their last meeting, the Panthers picked up a 2-1 win at Walsh on April 8, 2017. ODU will also take an eight-game winning streak over Malone into Tuesday's contests.
In the G-MAC, Ohio Dominican currently ranks first in triples (11), second in stolen bases (27), fourth in RBIs (98) and hits (185).
Leading the Panthers in batting average is senior Liz Sutter (Mansfield, Ohio), who is hitting .383 at the plate with an on-base percentage of .407. Sophomore Cameron Barber (Powell, Ohio) is getting it done both in the circle and at the plate for the Panthers. She leads the team in on-base percentage (.418) and slugging percentage (.608), good enough to rank eighth in the conference in slugging percentage.

Senior Taylor Kline (Bellville, Ohio) leads the Great Midwest with 16 stolen bases, while freshman Kristen Bales (Pickerington, Ohio) tops the conference in triples with four on the season thus far.
