    The Ohio Dominican softball team's road to the NAIA National Tournament got a little tougher as they fell to #13 ranked California State – San Marcos on Thursday in their second round game of the A.I.I. Tournament. The Panthers advanced in the first round defeating British Columbia, 10-3, but ODU's bats were silenced by the top seed in game three of the tournament in Victoria, Texas.

The Panthers fell in the opener 10-3 and couldn't salvage the split as they dropped a heartbreaker 2-1 in eight innings in the nightcap.

    The Ohio Dominican softball team hosted its first annual Friends of Jaclyn (FOJ) game today as they took on Ashland University at Panther Field. FOJ is a non-profit, charitable organization that improves the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and their families. The children are adopted by college or high school athletic teams and are welcome at all team events and functions.
