Panthers Cross Country Teams Finish Season at GLIAC Championship

HOUGHTON, Mich. – Saturday marked the end of the Ohio Dominican men and women's cross country team's fall season at the GLIAC Championships, hosted by Michigan Tech University. The men placed 15th while the women were 13th.

Freshman Andrew Beier (Bellevue, Ohio) paced the Panthers, crossing the finish line with a time of 27:41.8.

Junior Michael Barber (New Franklin, Ohio) finished the race with a time of 27:56.3 while freshman Patrick Ferguson (Austintown, Ohio) and junior Connor Callahan (Columbus, Ohio) were close at his heels with times of 28:20.2 and 28:23.1, respectively.

Sophomore Austin Kilgore (Pickerington, Ohio) finished with a time of 29:01.7.

On the women's side, sophomore Shakita Kabciek (Brook Park, Ohio) led the Panthers, running a time of 24:31.7.

Junior Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) ran a time of 25:05.7 while sophomore Nicole Brown (Columbus, Ohio) had a time of 26:01.6.

Senior Mallory Kitts (Springfield, Ohio) finished the race with a time of 26:34.4 and junior Erin Miller (London, Ohio) had a time of 26:49.6.
