Men's Soccer Welcomes Seton Hill Thursday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team continues their non-conference schedule hosting Seton Hill in Panther Stadium on Thursday evening at 5 p.m.

The Panthers are coming off a 0-2 start to the season with a 2-0 loss to Bellarmine before dropping their home opener to Mercyhurst 2-1 on Sunday.

The ODU offense was led by freshman Khalif Hassan (Columbus, Ohio) who has the lone goal for the Panthers on the season. Junior River Allbaugh (Pickerington, Ohio) was in on the assist to Hassan while also having taken two shots. Fellow junior Jaxson Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) also has a pair of shots with one shot on goal in his two starts.

Defensively, junior goalkeeper Ian Crook (Cincinnati, Ohio) has 12 saves on the early season with seven saves in the 2-1 loss to Mercyhurst.

Seton Hill comes into the week with a 2-0 record after wins over Wheeling Jesuit and West Virginia Wesleyan last week.

The Griffin offense is averaging 2.50 goals per game in the early season with seven of 26 shots on goal. The SHU offense is led by Daniel Van Gorp who has three goals while Archi Lock has two goals.

The Griffin defense is led by goalkeeper Austin Iddon who has started both games in between the posts with six saves while allowing one goal in the two games.
