Men's Soccer Has Last Home Game Before Traveling to Davis & Elkins

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team hosts Alderson Broaddus on Thursday before traveling to Davis & Elkins on Saturday. 

The matchup at Panther Stadium with the Battler is set for a 7:30 kickoff while the game with the Senators is set for 12 p.m. in Elkins, West Virginia.

About Ohio Dominican

The Panthers come into the week with an even 6-6 overall record and a 5-4 record in the G-MAC where they currently sit in sixth. 

ODU is coming off a 3-0 loss at Ohio Valley last Thursday. 

The Panther offense is led by senior Jonathan Barnes (Winter Haven, Fla.) who is tied for ninth in the conference with six goals. Fellow senior Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, Ohio) also has four goals and an assist on the year for the Panthers.

ODU's defense is led by senior goalkeeper Alec Mathew (Pataskala, Ohio) who has played and started nine games for the Panthers while having 25 saves and allowing just 15 goals.

About Alderson Broaddus

AB comes into the week with a 5-7-1 overall record and an even 5-5-1 record in the conference where they place fifth. 

The Battlers are coming off a week where they went 1-1 with a win against Findlay and a loss against Tiffin. 

The AB offense is led by Nevado Elliot who has five goals and three assists and Javier Bello who has four goals.

The defense will be managed by Francisco Yudego who has 44 saves while allowing 20 goals in 11 games.

About Davis & Elkins

The Senators come into the week with a 4-5-2 overall record and a 3-4-2 conference record where they sit in a tie for 9th.

D&E split last weeks contests with a 2-1 loss to Tiffin and a 2-0 win against Findlay. 

Leading the Senator offense is Pedro Nunes Bassin who has four goals and Carlos Cruza who has three. 

On the defensive side of the pitch, D&E is led by goalkeeper Everton Carvalho who has only allowed seven goals while making 27 saves.

Before hosting the Panthers, the Senators will travel to play at Cedarville on Thursday afternoon.
