Men’s Soccer Hits The Pitch Saturday Afternoon Against Lake Erie

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team gets back on the pitch at Panther Stadium this Saturday, September 14 at 2:30 p.m. with a home Great Midwest Athletic Conference match against Lake Erie.

About Ohio Dominican

The Panthers (1-3, 0-2 G-MAC) fell at Trevecca in their last match and will look for their first conference victory on Saturday. ODU currently ranks in a tie for fourth in the conference in scoring with an average of 1.75 goals per match. The squad ranks second in assists per match at 1.50 and is third in the conference in points with 20, seven goals and six assists, on the year.

Leading ODU offensively is junior Ryan Kasprzak (Hilliard, Ohio), who has found the back of the net twice in 2017 and boasts a shot percentage of .200.

About Lake Erie

The Storm (1-2, 0-1 G-MAC) fell 2-0 at Cedarville on Saturday and will travel to Findlay on Thursday night before facing ODU Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Ezekiel Ebenezer is leading Lake Erie through its first three matches with two goals and a shot percentage of .667.

Ohio Dominican split the season series with Lake Erie a season ago, earning a 1-0 win at Panther Stadium on September 28, 2016.
