Men's Soccer Ranked No. 19 in NSCAA Poll

KANSAS CITY – Following a record setting 2013 season, Ohio Dominican's men's soccer team is ranked No. 19 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Pre-Season Rankings, released today.

The Panthers captured the GLIAC regular season and tournament title last fall while securing the top seed in the Midwest Region, playing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time. Overall, the Panthers finished with a 12-3-4 record, including an 8-1-2 mark at home.

ODU has a pair of all-region players returning in senior Jake Szabo (Worthington, Ohio) and junior Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio), while seniors Brock Taylor (Columbus, Ohio) and Frazer Fernandes (Gahanna, Ohio) also earned all-conference accolades last season.

Ohio Dominican begins its season at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4 at Urbana.
