Men's Golf Sits in Sixth After Day One at Findlay Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Kentucky – Ohio Dominican's men's golf team sits in a tie for sixth place after shooting 293 on day one of the Findlay Spring Invitational at the UK University Club in Lexington, Kentucky.

Senior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) and freshman Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) each shot an even par 72 to lead the way for the Panthers where they sit in a tie for 17th.

Sophomore Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) is sitting in a tie for 30th after shooting a +1 73 on day one while junior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) shot 76 to be in a tie for 66th.

Rounding out the Panther five was freshman Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) who shot 78 and is tied for 78th in the field.

Playing as an individual this week is freshman Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio) who posted a round of 76 on Monday.

Day two of the Findlay Spring Invitational at the UK University Club is tomorrow with a shotgun start set at 10 a.m.
