Men's Golf Gets Ready to Compete a the Findlay Spring Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's men's golf team will head to the Findlay Spring Invitational at University Club of Kentucky on Monday, March 25 and Tuesday the 26.

Last week at Cherry Blossom, the Panthers put together two solid rounds of 298,300 respectively over the two days.

The Panthers were led by senior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) who finished tied for 38th at Cherry Blossom after shooting 71, 76 over two rounds.

Freshmen Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) shot 75, 74 over two rounds to finish tied for 51st and Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) shot 77,74 over the two rounds to finish tied for 67th at Cherry Blossom.

Rounding out the top five is junior Alex Heban (Toledo, Ohio) who shot 77,76 over the two days to finish tied for 83rd and freshman Brandon Wehrle (Findlay, Ohio) who shot 75,78 over two days to finish tied for 83rd  at Cherry Blossom as well.

Lastly, junior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) competed as an individual at Cherry Blossom and shot 78, 71 over two rounds to finish tied for 51st.

The panthers will look to continue their success this week at the Findlay Spring Invitational at University Club of Kentucky.
