Men's and Women's Golf Tees Off Spring at SVSU Spring Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's men's and women's golf teams are heading to the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational to kick off their spring schedule this Saturday and Sunday at the Cherry Blossom Golf Club with split tee times starting at 9 a.m. Saturday and a shotgun start Sunday at 9 a.m.

In the G-MAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, the women were projected to finish fourth while the men were projected to finish sixth.

The women's team is led by a pair of juniors in Bailey Krueger (Canal Winchester, Ohio) and Abby Swenson (Milford, Ohio). Krueger led the team with a scoring average of 79.3 while Swenson is second on the team with an 81.9 scoring average.

The Panthers also have three upperclassmen in the top six in junior Emma Romine (Marysville, Ohio) who has a scoring average of 84.0, senior Kaylin Dill (Sedalia, Ohio) was just behind with an average 84.8 and junior Tori Jones(Ashland, Ohio) with a scoring average of 87.6.

They are led by three freshman in Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England), Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio), and Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio). Holden led the team with an average of 76.0, while Crowley and Herman were just behind with an average of 76.2 and 76.3, respectively.

The Panthers also have a pair of upperclassmen in the top six in junior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) who has a scoring average of 76.8 while senior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) is just behind with an average of 77.3.
