Men's Golf Finishes Second at MVNU Fall Invitational

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's men's golf team finished second at the Mount Vernon Nazarene Fall Invitational after shooting 441 (294-147) in the darkness shortened event where the teams played 27 holes at Chap Hill Golf Club in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Ohio Valley won the event shooting 435 over the 27 holes. Adam O'Hara was the medalist as he posted rounds of 64 (-8) and 35 (-1). 

The Panthers were led by freshman Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) who tie for second shooting +1 for the day with a 73 on the 18 hole round before shooting an even 36 on the last nine.

Senior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) finished his day +4 with rounds of 74 and 38 while freshman Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio) posted rounds of 70 (-2) and 41. 

Junior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) shot rounds of 77 and 37 to place and freshman Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) fired rounds of 78 and 36 to round out the Panther five.

The men's golf team rounds out the fall season as they head to the Cedarville Invitational with the first round teeing off on Monday, October 15.
