Men's Golf Holds Fifth at G-MAC Fall Invitational

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Ohio Dominican's men's golf team holds fifth place after shooting 300 on day one of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Invitaitonal Monday at Otter Creek Country Club in Columbus, Indiana. 

The day one team leader is Hillsdale who shot 291 and holds a one shot lead over Trevecca and two shots over Tiffin. Josh Davenport of Hillsdale and Ryan Rozic of Trevecca lead the tournament after shooting -1, 71 on day one. 

The Panthers trail Findlay by just one shot and hold a three shot lead over sixth place Malone.

ODU was led by freshman Robert Holden (Hertfordshire, England) who shot a 74 (+2) and holds a tie for 15th. Just behind Holden was fellow freshman Ben Herman (Germantown, Ohio) and junior Blake Saffell (Somerset, Ohio) who each shot 75 (+3) and are in a tie for 17th.

Freshman Dalton Crowley (Nashport, Ohio) holds a tie for 25th as he posted a first round score of 76 (+4) while senior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) rounded out the Panther five shooting an 88 which places him 58th after the first day.

Day two of the G-MAC Invitational is set to tee off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
