Men’s Golf Wraps Up Competition At Bill Blazer Memorial

PATASKALA, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's men's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place overall at the Bill Blazer Memorial on Saturday at Cumberland Trail Golf Club, shaving 23 strokes off its day one score to notch a 311 for the second round and 645 for the tournament.

Senior Mark Creamer (Saratoga, California) led the way for the Panthers. He shot a career-low round of 72 on Saturday to come in with a team-low total score of 157 (85-72). Creamer finished in a tie for 11th place overall and came in at fourth in Par 4 scoring (4.35).

Finishing with the second-lowest score on the team was junior Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio), who notched a 158 (84-78) to finish in 14th place overall, his third top 20 finish overall. Senior Ryan Thompson (Dunfermline, Scotland) took 23rd with a 161 (85-76).

Ohio Dominican will look forward to the Great Midwest Men's Golf Championships on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24 at Four Bridges Country Club in Liberty Township, Ohio.Dominican.
