TIFFIN, Ohio — Ohio Dominican senior Austin Goodridge (Lima, Ohio) finished with a three-round score of 217 (71-72-74) to finish in a tie for eighth out of 99 total competitors and lead Ohio Dominican's men's golf team to a 10th place finish overall at the Kyle Ryman Memorial Tournament at Mohawk Golf and Country Club on Sunday.
Goodridge's 54-hole score of 217 sets a career-low for him and ties a low-round of 71 on the year. His eighth place finish marks the eighth time he has finished in the top ten of a tournament in his career.
Senior Eric Thompson (Miamisburg, Ohio) also finished strong, placing in a tie for 19th with a total score of 221 (78-69-74). Thompson's round two score of 69 is a career-low and his 19th place finish marks the 10th time he has finished in the Top 20 in a tournament in his Panther career.
Sophomore Drew Wayman (Wapakoneta, Ohio) shot a total score of 231 (79-79-73), recording a season-low round of 73 in the third set of 18.
The Panthers finished 10th out of 17 teams overall.
Ohio Dominican will hit the course for its next match on Sunday, October 16 and Monday, October 17 when it travels to TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Michigan for the Motor City Invitational. On Monday, October 17, members of the men's golf team will also compete in the Highland Cup Challenge in Marietta, Ohio at the Marietta Country Club.
