Men's Basketball Adds Anthony Fairhurst to Coaching Staff

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican men's basketball coach, Dan Evans, announced the hiring of assistant coach Anthony Fairhurst to his staff.

Prior to coming to Ohio Dominican, Fairhurst was the assistant men's basketball coach at Mount Vernon Nazarene University for the 2016-2018 seasons. Over his two seasons at MVNU, the Cougars finished with a 37-26 record. Fairhurst was also the recruiting coordinator along with the strength and conditioning coach over his two seasons.

Fairhurst also was the assistant coach on the women's basketball team at Alderson Broaddus during the 2014-2016 seasons. At Alderson Broaddus, Fairhurst assisted in all aspects of the daily operations of the program along with being the strength and conditioning coach.

Before his time in the college ranks, Fairhurst was the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity basketball coach at Ashland High School.

The former Baldwin Wallace football wide receiver joins the Ohio Dominican basketball staff that led the Panthers to a 20-11 record and their first NCAA Championship appearance in program history a year ago.
