COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Dominican's men's basketball team will face Hillsdale and host its final home regular season game of 2016-17 at Alumni Hall on Saturday, February 18 at 3 p.m.
Following its contest with Hillsdale on Saturday, ODU will travel to Lake Erie for its final regular season game on Thursday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m.

The Panthers (13-11, 8-10 GLIAC) sit at fifth place in the GLIAC South division and 10th overall in the conference heading into their final home game on Saturday. ODU is seeking a spot in the GLIAC Tournament but will need two wins over Hillsdale and Lake Erie and does not control its own destiny.
Ohio Dominican ranks fifth in the GLIAC in three-point percentage, shooting 38.6 percent from behind the arc and is led in that department by freshman guard Sam Hickey (Toledo, Ohio), who currently leads the conference in three-point shooting percentage, connecting on 48.3 percent of his tries from behind the arc. He also continues to lead the team in points scored since conference play began, averaging 14.5 points per game in GLIAC contests. In his last two conference games, he scored a combined 37 points.
Freshman forward Hasan Varence (Queens, New York) leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 7.7 boards per contest, which ranks fifth in the GLIAC. He is also pouring in 12.9 points per game and shooting the ball at 61 percent, which ranks second on the team in both categories.
The leading scorer for the Panthers is junior Ronnie Williams (Columbus, Ohio), who averages 13.9 points per game. He continues to boast a solid free throw percentage at 83.3 percent, which ranks eight in the GLIAC. He also adds 3.0 assists per game, which is third on the team, and 1.3 steals per game, which is tied for first.
Junior forward Mike DeLeon (Powell, Ohio) currently sits at third in the GLIAC in field goal percentage at 64.2 percent. He averages 7.0 points per game and adds 6.0 rebounds a game, which ranks second on the team behind Varence in rebounds per contest.
Junior guard Shemar Waugh (Columbus, Ohio) ranks fourth on the team in scoring, contributing 8.8 points per contest. He is also tied for the team lead in steals at 1.3 per game, and is leading the team in assists, dishing out 3.9 per contest. In his last game against Walsh, he posted 5 assists.
The Chargers (13-11, 9-9 GLIAC), after starting the season 7-10, are currently riding a three-game winning streak and have won six of their last seven contests. They currently sit at third in the South Division standings and are ranked eighth overall in the conference.
Hillsdale boasts a balanced scoring attack, with four players averaging in double-figures. Leading the way is junior guard Stedman Lowry, who scores 15.1 points per game and averages 14.0 points per game in conference play. Lowry's 15.1 points per game ranks 13th in the GLIAC in scoring. In his last two games, he has totaled 38 points.
Senior center Nick Archer leads the team in blocks per game, where he sends back 1.4 shots per contest. In his last game against Tiffin, he posted a team-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, while adding one blocked shot and six rebounds.
Sophomore guard Nate Neveau is a stat-sheet stuffer for the Chargers, posting 10.3 points a game, while adding 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. Neveau leads the team in rebounds and assists per game and his 4.5 assists per contest ranks second in the GLIAC.
The Chargers lead the all-time series over the Panthers, 8-1. ODU last defeated Hillsdale on Saturday, January 18, 2014 by a final score of 57-55 at Alumni Hall.
