INDIANAPOLIS – For a second straight week, freshman punter Logen Neidhardt (Hicksville, Ohio) was tabbed as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
Neidhardt pinned Malone inside its own 20 three times in his six punts during Saturday night's 20-3 win for Ohio Dominican. He helped the Panthers control the field position battle defensively as Malone's average start drive was on its own 25 yard line.
Overall, Neidhardt averaged 39.5 yards per punt, with a long of 46, and a net of 39.7 yards as Malone returned just one punt for a loss of one yard.
He ranks second in the G-MAC with an average of 41.1 yards per punt and on the season has placed nine of his 24 punts inside the opponent's 20.
Ohio Dominican (2-3, 2-0 G-MAC) returns to Panther Stadium to play host to Hillsdale at noon on Saturday.
