Football Cracks Top-10 Nationally, Remains Second in Region

FULL REGIONAL AND NATIONAL RANKINGS

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio Dominican's football team entered the top-10 in the AFCA poll for the first time since joining Division II and the Panthers held their spot in the hunt for the postseason, checking in again at No. 2 in the NCAA's Super Region Four rankings.

Undefeated at 8-0 (7-0 GLIAC) and in possession of the longest win streak in Division II at 13 straight wins, the Panthers trail just Colorado State-Pueblo in the regional rankings. The top-six teams in the region qualify for the playoffs, with the top-two earning byes and the right to host a second round playoff game.

In the national poll, the Panthers picked up 553 points this week and jumped from No. 11 to No. 9. ODU is coming off of an 18-0 victory over Tiffin, the first shutout by ODU since the 2008 season.

During ODU's 13-game win streak, the Panthers have outscored opponents 527-210, winning by an average of 24.4 points per game.
