BAY CITY, Mich. – For the second time this season, Ohio Dominican sophomore kicker Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) was named the GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Wahle drilled a pair of field goals on Thursday night as ODU defeated Findlay 41-21 in the Division II Game of the Week on CBS Sports Network. That gives him 14 made field goals on the year, extending his school single-season record in that category, and keeps him tied for first in the country in makes.
He also made five PATs during the game and is now a perfect 30-for-30 on PAT attempts this season. Wahle leads all GLIAC kickers in scoring with 72 points this season, 20 points more than second place.
Wahle also picked up the player of the week accolades after hitting four field goals against Walsh earlier this year and is a two-time honoree as the GLIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week as well.
The Panthers are idle this weekend and will return to action at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at Tiffin.
