COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Dominican football team finished its winter conditioning program this past week with the awarding of the Panther Challenge Cup.

The Panther Challenge was a contest that took place throughout the winter season. Eight teams competed to earn points in the weight room and during the races held during morning conditioning.

"The idea was to build competitiveness and leadership while also accomplishing the conditioning and strength goals that we set for the guys at the beginning of the winter," said assistant coach Rob Rowland. "The next step is for our guys to maintain their fitness over Spring Break so when they return to campus they are prepared for spring practice."

Spring practice begins on Monday, March 18 and concludes with the annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Panther Field.
