Chris Wallace enters his third season as a member of the Panthers baseball coaching staff. Wallace will serve as the ODU pitching and catching instructor.
Wallace brings an outstanding baseball resume to Ohio Dominican University and has experienced success as both a player and coach at numerous levels. After a stellar career in three sports at Marion Harding High School, Wallace starred at Wright State University, becoming an All-League selection and leading the Raiders to three Midwestern Collegiate Conference titles and an NCAA Regional berth.
Following his junior campaign, Wallace was a 14th round pick of the New York Yankees, and he spent five years playing with the Yankee organization.
After his playing career, Wallace became the varsity pitching coach at Gahanna Christian and Pickerington North High Schools. In four years of work, the teams combined for an 85-13 record and made two state championship appearances. Under his tutelage, six pitchers and every catcher went on to play at the collegiate level.
Wallace currently resides in Pickerington with his wife and six children: Bailey, Bexley, Garner, Brooklyn, Berry and Blossom.
