Athletics Partners with Run for Boston Campaign
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio Dominican's athletic department is showing its support for the Run for Boston campaign started by ODU employee Becca Obergefell by adding its mileage from offseason workouts, practices and spring competitions to her organization.
Obergefell, the assistant director of the Center for Student Development at ODU, has received national attention for her campaign, which asks runners to log their mileage here to show support for those affected by the tragedy at the Boston Marathon on Monday. Over 3,000 runners have already logged their efforts thus far for a total of nearly 14,000 miles.
