Taylor Thomas (4-28-14)Ohio Dominican softball player junior Taylor Thomas (Bellville, Ohio) helped guide the Panthers to a 3-1 weekend over Ashland and Malone. For her efforts, she has been named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week.
Tyler Smith (4-21-14)Ohio Dominican men’s golf player sophomore Tyler Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio) tied for 38tht at the GLIAC South Spring Invitational with a 159 (79-80). For his efforts, he has been named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week.
Tara Walker (4-14-14)Junior Tara Walker (Lewis Center, Ohio) was fifth in the 10,000 meter run after running a 38:50.92 at the All-Ohio Invitational held on the University of Cincinnati campus. For her efforts, she has been named the Ohio Dominican University Player of the Week.
Melissa Scherpenberg (1-6-13)Ohio Dominican Women's Basketball sophomore forward Melissa Scherpenberg (Cincinnati, Ohio) averaged 13.5 points on 43.0 percent shooting along with 4.5 rebounds last week, making her Ohio Dominican's Athlete of the Week.
Rachael Stanzel (4-7-14)Ohio Dominican University junior pitcher Rachael Stanzel (Angleton, Texas) went 3-0 over the weekend, where she threw 21.0 innings for the Panthers. Stanzel threw 14 innings in the two win shutouts over No. 6 Wayne State. Stanzel allowed just combined five hits in the doubleheader for a weekend ERA of 0.67. For her efforts, she has been named Ohio Dominican Player of the Week.
Jamie EllisonSophomore Jamie Ellison (Mason, Ohio) captured a 10th place finish at the Ohio Dominican NC4K College Classic over the weekend to help guide the Panthers to seventh place. Ellison shot a 79 and has been named the Ohio Dominican Player of the Week.
Austin Goodridge (3-24-14)Freshman Austin Goodridge (Lima, Ohio) shot a team-low 147 (71-76) to finish second at the Capital Spring Invitational to be named the Ohio Dominican Student Athlete of the Week. The finish was Goodridge’s second top-five finish this season.
Anthony RaschillaSenior Anthony Raschilla (Girad, Ohio) helped guide the Ohio Dominican baseball team to a 9-3 record during the Panthers spring break trip at the Russ Matt Central Florida Invitational last week, and for his efforts, has been named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week. Overall, the Panthers are 10-5.
Lauren Bates (2-17-14)Freshman Lauren Bates (Hilliard, Ohio) scored a game-high 17 points in the 72-68 loss to Walsh last Thursday. For her efforts, Bates has been named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week.
Kelly Wallace (3-10-14)Earlier this week, freshman Kelly Wallace (Oshkosh, Wisc.) went 5-for-8 with five RBI from the plate to split a pair of games at the Rebel Spring Games in Winter Haven, Fla. For her efforts, she has been named the Ohio Dominican Student Athlete of the Week.
Ritchie Kruunenberg (2-24-14)Last week, freshman Ritchie Kruunenberg (Nieuw-Vennep, Holland) went 2-0 in doubles play and 1-1 in singles action to be named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week.
Nicole Brown (12-9-13)Ohio Dominican sophomore Nicole Brown (Columbus, Ohio) had a successful first indoor track meet, winning the 1000 meter run with a time of 3:23.72 and also taking first in the mile with a time of 5:41.77.
Men's Track & Field Distance Medly Relay Team (2-10-14)The Ohio Dominican men's track & field distance medley team of junior Dominick Smith (Dayton, Ohio), junior Ashton Hall (Huber Heights, Ohio), sophomore Austin Kilgore (Pickerington, Ohio), and junior Jason Williams (Powell, Ohio) recently broke the school record, running a 10:27 at their meet last week, and for their efforts, has been named the ODU Player of the Week.
Mark Minch (2-3-14)On Monday, Ohio Dominican men’s basketball player sophomore Mark Minch (West Chester, Ohio) led the Panthers to an 80-68 win over GLIAC South Division foe Tiffin in Alumni Hall. Minch scored 21 points and added six rebounds and two steals, and for his efforts, has been named Ohio Dominican’s Athlete of the Week.

Lauren Pratt (10-15-13)Ohio Dominican’s women's soccer player sophomore Lauren Pratt (West Chester, Ohio) had two goals and two assists last week, and for her efforts, was named Ohio Dominican's Athlete of the Week.
Brent WahleAfter setting a school-record with four field goals on Saturday, Ohio Dominican sophomore placekicker Brent Wahle (Pataskala, Ohio) was named the Ohio Dominican Athlete of the Week.
Cody Culbertson & Justin Bell (9-13-13)On Saturday, sophomore Cody Culbertson (Galloway, Ohio) and senior Justin Bell (Columbus, Ohio) helped guide the Ohio Dominican football team to a 57-14 victory over No. 9 Grand Valley, and was named Athletes of the Week for their efforts.
