Paul “Jake” McLoughlin was inducted into the Ohio Dominican University Hall of Fame in 2001-2002. McLoughlin played for the men’s basketball team from 1968-72 and was a part of ODU’s first National Tournament team in 1971. McLoughlin scored 1,032 career points and was an All-Mid Ohio Conference second-team selection in 1971-72. He holds the ODU record for the most consecutive free throws made with 27 and finished his career with a career free throw percentage of 84.4 percent.
